Finally new atc location! It's in lyons art supply in downtown lb, except I don't actually remember the dates.

Here some stuff I've been working on:

My favorite holiday is Halloween, and i love those old school style decorations. These were based on fantasy costume concepts from back then, a little pumpkin child and a black cat that kinda looks like someone in black face to me. I got them at Joann's Fabric store a while back. I love that place!!! I wanted to get more but they were mostly broken and already sold off. TT-TT

In the center is a day of the dead doll (of myself) that my aunt made for me. My sister also has one. (love it!)

The two dolls are actually McDonald's toys based on the wizard of Oz, I got mine at a garage sale. There is a bobble head bat from peru.... well technically some mexican guys garage- but not the point, and my beautiful miniature grave of a crying stone angel. It's based on a real grave- I hope mine looks like that when I die. (ok, that was creepy, but I wasn't trying to sound all dead loving there- I just like tombstones)

^^ Just wanted to share

Good luck charms I wear nearly everyday. The dog tag I have worn for nearly 3 1/2 years, it's my fiancĂ©'s from back in high school when he was in rotc. There is a black crystal, a clear crystal, amethyst, a mayan capricorn pendent, and a figa. A figa is a small hand from south america that will bring it's owner good luck, but only if the owner received it as a gift from someone else. This one was a present from my mom.

The above is the contents of my mojo bag, aka gris gris. There is dried wormwood I decorated with some beads, my first 4 leaf clover sealed in glass, a taxidermy alligator head my grandfather use to take with him everywhere, a dyed pink rabbit foot, a beach rock a crab drilled a hole through with his claw (just cuz it's cool), a piece of Onyx stone, a shark tooth, a lucky buddha, a gold dollar with the statue of liberty on it, a Hindu Sheiba pendent, and dried mint.

These are all either typical mojo bag items or other items of good luck I decided to add. There is always suppose to be an odd number of items, anywhere between 3- 13, I have 11.

Opium/ perfume bottles, and some of my netsukes. I just absolutely love collecting these small and beautiful wonders. I get most of these things from the swap meat at veteran's stadium.

Here are some atc's I did a while ago. They are a lot simpler then my usual ones, but eh- people seemed to like them at the trade they were for.
vv they are no longer doing atc swaps at boarders.... so i have no more group. I am a lonely crafter indeed.

And now for something completely different!
These are some paintings I did last semester in school.

My teacher thought the snake looked like he was made of glass, he kinda does- which i like. It took so much red to cover the background. I had to go out and buy more in the middle of painting it. vv oil paint is so pricey....
This guy was actually made to compliment the snake. I kept changing my mind on how to do the background.

I have no idea why i made the bottom one that way... kinda trippy but i don't know if i like it.

My fave is the snake.

I need to upload some stuff on here.

I'm currently working on a new movie with my forever partner in crime... i mean ART. >>
It's a mayan Vid, Carol will be writing the plot and directing, although I am considering reviving my long lost dream of filming my radioactive octopus movie. Depends on time and if ZI can figure out how to film certain scenes.

So far we have been working on the wigs and costumes as well as a miniature set for the pyramids. looks great so far, i think this time we'll actually get a project done lol.

Ouijitians is also getting dusted off, although I'm not too happy with the name. There might be an accompanying comic book to go along with the art pieces I have been planning out. I really need to post pictures of all this. The comic will be sorta like the first 15 minutes of the movie "the brothers grim" except it's two sisters, and it will more likely be a 'buffy' type plot were there is always a new monster to fight.

God i hope this pans out....

pictures in the morning! (If i don't forget....)

ATC's New Photos

So I made a bunch of new atc's at the last trade, they aren't my usual work- mostly large portrait pieces. I tried using my camera to take their pictures, but I don't think they turned out as good if I had scanned them instead- but this way was faster. I'll see what the quality is like once they are posted and then decide which way I should stick with. I also took some pictures to show that when I usually make atc's I make about 10 at a time, you don't usually see that on here. Also a side shot of some of my single piece collection. Thought that would look interesting in a photo.

This is my most recent one that I worked on just last night. I wanted to go for a scrapbooking look. I made 10 of them, then my hand started hurting and I got tired.
My new mission is to use almost all of my materials and use all of my stamps. That might take a while, it's hard to tell. I will probably just make up the pieces and assemble everything later. That textured paper seen on the bird ATC will be showing up a lot more. I was suppose to be working on a scrapbook for my fiance', but I got distracted by some life issues on that one. I will most likely still be making it, but it depends on a lot of things, especially time.

So here are a pair of shoes I made a while ago. Just came across them in my closet and thought I might post them. I used mag page to apply the images.
